Flower Gardens, Romantic Poetry of Flowers

FLOWER GARDENS
ROMANTIC POETRY OF FLOWERS
Walter Whitman, is one of America's most significant  nineteenth century poets. During the era of romanticism, as a transcendentalist, he praises nature and its value to human life in his poems. Most of the famous poets during the time of the romantic period, wrote of their gratitude for nature, and noted its beauty, having a healing effect upon the human soul.
                                        A morning glory
                                at my window
                      satisfies me more than the
                         metaphysics of books.
                           - Walter Whitman

Give me the odorous at sunrise a garden of beautiful flowers where I can walk undisturbed.-WALTER WHITMAN

I believe that the beauty seen in nature, is divine and uplifts
the human soul instilling joy, happiness and contentment.
